Frequently Asked Questions

1. Do I need a referral in order to schedule an appointment?

You do not need a referral before scheduling an appointment. Patients can pay out of pocket or we are in network with certain insurance providers (BCBS & Aetna). PPO insurance plans allow you to schedule appointments without a primary care physician's referral.

2. What should I expect during my first visit?

Initial intakes typically take 45 to 60 minutes. During this time, our staff will take a detailed history, discuss any diagnoses, conduct a thorough assessment, and develop a personalised treatment plan.

3. What should I wear to my appointment?

We recommend wearing comfortable and loose-fitting athletic clothing that allows for easy movement.

4. How frequently should I be receiving treatment?

Frequency of visits will vary based on patient needs. At the end of your first visit, our team will provide specific recommendations to you.

Dry needling is a therapeutic technique where a thin needle is inserted into the skin to stimulate specific points in muscles and connective tissue, primarily to relieve pain and improve movement.
